Swine Flu (H1N1) symptoms:
- Fever
- Headache
- Runny or stuffy nose, difficulty in breathing
- Blood stained sputum
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Diarrhea and vomiting
High Risk Group:
Children with other illnesses, pregnant women, persons aged 65 or over, patients with lung disease, heart disease, liver disease, blood disorders, diabetes, cancer patients, HIV/AIDS patients etc
Precautions for prevention:
DOs:
- Avoid crowded places
- Frequently wash your hands with soap and water
- Stay at least one arm’s length from others
- Drink plenty of water
- If you have symptoms, please consult a doctor immediately
DON’Ts:
- Excessive physical exercise
- Unnecessary testing
- Touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
- Hugging, kissing or shaking hands
- Taking medicines without consulting a doctor
- Touching surfaces usually used by public (doorknobs, water taps, etc)
